Culvert, Bridge & Water-Crossing Work in the NC High Country

When a creek crosses your access, the work has to move water and carry weight, or you lose the road. Ethan installs and repairs culverts and stream crossings so the water goes where it should and you can still get in.

Ethan sets culvert pipe to the right size and slope, builds up and armors the crossing so it does not wash, and repairs crossings that storms have torn up. In New River and creek country, getting the water right is what keeps the rest of the job from floating away.

What's involved

  • Sizing and installing culvert pipe at the correct slope
  • Building and armoring stream and driveway crossings
  • Riprap and stone to stop scour and washout
  • Repairing crossings and culverts damaged by storms
  • Re-opening access after water has cut it off
